Several Orange Line trains were delayed Monday morning due to reports of debris on a segment of the Orange Line right of way. Rail supervisors deployed crews from our track maintenance team to the area. After careful examination the debris on the rails was determined to be an older model of rolling stock currently operating on the line. The train was delayed while being checked and passengers aboard the older trainset were delayed by approximately 20 minutes. After the older model cars cleared the next station the newer Orange line cars were able to continue to their destination. Overall delays were estimated at 30 minutes.
